taxedinEB: I hope you are right. I saw a lot of older folks and not too many young ones. I was a little surprised thinking older folks might not go out and bother to vote for the alleged "0" increase, thinking at least it isn't an increase. I'm guessing they are smarter than that though, and went to vote no anyway to send a message.
If I get one more call from the school districts automatic system telling me to vote, I'm going to flip my lid. Personally I think they abuse that system.
Talking? That would require an open dialogue - that is not what this administration is about. Too bad we won't have the opportunity to work with a different group to effect change - geez that is what was needed. Now more of the same.
I hope that all of us going on this site and getting this info. will attend the next meeting. I for one look forward to being present and finally seeing what goes on there.
Just voted, polls were packed for a school board election, wonder what that means.
ReplyDeleteconsidering the polls don't open until two thats interesting
ReplyDeletelook at the time on your post dope. the time is wrong on this website. I voted at 2:45
ReplyDeleteThat means that the people of East Brunswick and listened to the words by Gene,Joe and James and are voting for them. EXCELLENT!!!!
ReplyDeleteFor some reason I think the time on this website is set to California time?????
ReplyDeleteI would hope that the Budget goes south and that the BOE realizes along with the Town Counsel that the taxpayers have spoken.

ReplyDeleteI agree - three phone calls last night alone about voting and the budget. Maybe they should try talking to people.

ReplyDeleteThree you got lucky, I got 5 calls. I have 3 kids in 3 different EB schools. Got two from two schools and one from one school.
ReplyDeleteIf you use Chicago Math, that would probably equal twenty or 30.
